CAMILLA SKJØNHAUG
I 1994 dro Camilla til England og startet studiereisen sin ved Birmingham City University. I 1998 ble hun uteksaminert interiørarkitekt Bachelor with Honours med høyeste score i årskullet. I 2000 var hun ferdig utdannet Master i Interior Design & IT ved samme universitet. Etter endte studier dro hun hjem til Norge og startet i sin første stilling som interiørarkitekt i et Oslo-basert arkitektbyrå.
Camilla er lidenskapelig opptatt av faget og har praktisert kontinuerlig siden 2000. Hun har tilegnet seg en bred plattform med kompetanse og erfaring, og er god på å sette seg inn i situasjoner med en løsningsorientert tilnærming. I 2016 startet hun In Front Design med mål om å tilby sin unike kombinasjon av fagkompetanse og personlige egenskaper. Etter mange år som landsdekkende fagekspertise hos en internasjonal møbel leverandør for kontraktsmarkedet, har hun opparbeidet seg lang erfaring med både B2B og P2P og utviklet en trent forståelse for utfordringer og behov kundene hennes formidler. Oppgaven med å utarbeide showroom og gode arbeidsmiljø for både små og store aktører over det ganske land har gitt henne unik erfaring, både i forhold til høy prosjektmengde, god variasjon i faglige oppgaver og omfattende relasjonserfaring. Dette har også gitt Camilla mulighet til å jobbe med høy mengde planløsningsarbeid som gjør at hun rettmessig kan kalle seg ekspert i planløsning og arealdisponering.
En stor portefølje og lang erfaring med prosjekter for næringsliv og organisasjoner gjør Camilla til en trygg og innsiktsfull interiørarkitekt å jobbe med. Hun har et genuint ønske om å bli kjent med og forstå kunden, deres behov og målsetninger. Målet er å skape gode prosesser med og for sine kunder, og gi dem løsninger som de kjenner seg igjen i og opplever et naturlig eierskap til.

In 1994, Camilla moved to England and began her academic journey at Birmingham City University. In 1998, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Interior Architecture, achieving the highest score in her class. In 2000, she completed her Master’s degree in Interior Design & IT at the same university. After finishing her studies, she returned to Norway and started her first position as an interior architect at an Oslo-based architecture firm.
Camilla is deeply passionate about her field and has practiced continuously since 2000. She has built a broad foundation of competence and experience and is skilled at engaging with a wide range of challenges. In 2016, she founded In Front Design with the goal of offering her unique combination of professional competence and personal qualities. After many years of extensive client interaction in her role as a nationwide specialist for an international furniture supplier, she has developed a well-trained and comprehensive understanding of clients’ challenges and needs. This role also provided her with a particularly distinctive experience as an interior architect. She independently served clients and departments across the entire country, working with commercial interiors and workplace development. This allowed her to work with space planning and design profiling at a much higher frequency than is typical. Camilla can rightfully be considered an expert in layout planning and space utilization.
A large portfolio and extensive experience with projects for businesses and organizations make Camilla a reliable and insightful interior architect to work with. She has a genuine desire to get to know and understand her clients—their needs and their goals. Her aim is to create good processes with and for her clients, and offer solutions that the client identify with and naturally feel an ownership of.
